Behaviour Mentors
to provide
day-to-day cover
at a supportive and nurturing
SEMH provision in the SE6 area
.

About the Role:

You'll be working with
secondary students
who may display challenging behaviour or face barriers to learning due to social, emotional, or mental health needs. The role is varied, rewarding, and perfect for someone who can stay calm under pressure while building positive relationships.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups to manage behaviour and re-engage with learning
  • Using restorative approaches to promote positive choices
  • Assisting teachers with lesson support and classroom routines
  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor for young people

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people in an SEMH, PRU, or behaviour support setting
  • Confidence in de-escalation and conflict resolution
  • A calm, resilient, and proactive attitude
  • Ability to build trust and rapport quickly
  • Flexibility for short-notice supply bookings

Pay:
£101.40 – £125 per day (depending on experience)
