Join one of our longest standing Financial Services clients as a Senior QA Engineer, where innovation meets excellence. Based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead automation testing initiatives within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As a vital part of the team, you will help shape the future of their testing processes, ensuring precise and efficient delivery of technology solutions that meet the highest standards.

The role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define automation strategies.
  • Execute automated tests and analyse results to identify defects or issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and practices.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Participate in sprint planning and review to align testing efforts with project timelines and milestones.

Tech stack:

  • Proven experience in Selenium automation testing within a financial services environment.
  • Strong background as a Senior Test Analyst or equivalent, with an understanding of test lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive approach.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and test management tools.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

This opportunity offers a competitive salary of c£55,000, complemented by a pension scheme, guaranteed bonus, and a range of additional benefits. Hybrid role, 2 days a week in the office and flexibility to work your 35 hour week between 7am-7pm Mon-Fri.
