Pink Elephant exists to build the companies that will steer the revolution in mental health. Global mental health is an urgent, under-addressed crisis: 1 in 8 people (970M) live with a mental disorder, and depression and anxiety alone cost ~$1T in lost productivity each year. Progressive therapies have been shown to be up to 10 times more effective than conventional treatments, yet only 5% of people can access them. We're here to change that by staking capital on verifiable breakthroughs and assemble founders, clinicians, and operators to turn today's uncommon sessions into tomorrow's standard of care.

One of our strategic products – – the first EU-focused platform to offer expert-led journalism, science-backed resources, and a vetted directory of providers offering next-generation treatments for mental health.

Head of Business Development is a cross-functional C-level leader responsible for scaling Pink Elephant's ecosystem across providers, clinical partners, associations, and investors — transforming strategic relationships into measurable growth outcomes.

This role sits at the intersection of product growth, partnerships, and community infrastructure, ensuring Pink Elephant becomes the most trusted hub for progressive mental-health care and psychedelics-assisted therapy in Europe and beyond.

You will architect and execute the company's partnership, supply, and ecosystem strategy — focusing on high-quality providers directory scaling at States of Mind platform.

Responsibilities: what you will drive

Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development: Platform

  • Own KPIs for provider acquisition, activation, and retention across four verticals (clinics, therapists, retreats, e-commerce) in the key target markets: the UK, Germany, Nordics - and wider Europe further on.
  • Build repeatable outreach and onboarding processes — combining CRM automation, outreach cadences, and data-driven funnel optimization.
  • Collaborate with Product to design a seamless provider experience and with Science & Medical to ensure regulatory compliance and value delivery.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with future directory providers and other potential partners in the UK, Germany and potentially Nordics

Marketing & Brand Positioning

  • Represent Pink Elephant at leading global conferences (MAPS, PSYCH Symposium, ICPR, ALPS, INSIGHT, Arrowhead) to position the brand and broker high-value collaborations.
  • Execute a rolling calendar of curated salons, policy breakfasts, and dinners in target geographies to build credibility and pipeline. Around 40% of travel expected.
  • Oversee CRM hygiene, follow-up discipline, and measurable ROI from each engagement.
  • Partner with Pink Elephant Marketing and Communications to amplify media visibility through co-branded events and expert content.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Product, Science, Marketing, and Operations to align business-development goals with product roadmaps and general strategic priorities.
  • Establish consistent reporting on providers and partnerships ROI, provider pipeline health, and market intelligence.
  • Mentor the BD and community team; ensure disciplined execution across relationship management and operational rhythm.

Experience: what you bring

  • 10+ years in partnerships, or ecosystem leadership within healthtech, biotech, or mental-health innovation.
  • Track record of building partner networks from 01.
  • Strong familiarity with the psychedelic, wellness, or digital-health ecosystem in EU/UK/Germany.
  • Entrepreneurial, data-driven, and execution-oriented - equally comfortable in a lab, a boardroom, or a dinner salon.
  • Background in clinical partnerships, telemedicine and/or regulatory affairs would be a plus.

Goals& Metrics: first 6 months (to be finalized by Head of Partnerships upon start)

  • Established ecosystem of active providers across at least 4 verticals: clinics, experts/practitioners, retreats and e-commerce, with conversion funnels fine-tuned for every category.
  • Secure collaboration programs with relevant institutions for platform: clinics, associations and/or research institutions.
  • Help securing advisors, consultants and talents pipeline for

    platform and optionally for ketamine assisted therapy telemedicine and triage service platform.
  • Develop and start implementing Pink Elephant's providers and partnership playbook - a scalable model for geographic and product expansion.
