Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail, ensuring that every customer leaves with a positive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
  • Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising techniques.
  • Engage in upselling and cross-selling to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring basic math skills are applied effectively.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to provide informed recommendations.
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
