are looking to recruit a motivated
Product Specialist
to join our Ford dealership in Nuneaton. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a successful career in automotive sales, with full training and support provided.
As an Product Specialist, your main focus will be guiding customers through the full sales process — from initial meet and greet, qualification and test drives, through to informing all new and used car options, overcoming objections, and helping customers confidently commit to a purchase. You will also handle follow-up calls, maintain ongoing customer contact, and ensure every handover of new and used vehicles is professional and memorable.
You'll quickly become knowledgeable about our Ford range as well as our used stock and new stock, enabling you to deliver strong product presentations and tailored recommendations that help close the sale.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 5 days (Monday–Sunday). We offer a
basic salary of £26,000
, with an
OTE of £28,400
, along with a clear career path progressing into a full Sales Executive position, supported directly by the Sales Manager

Do I need experience?
No Whilst we welcome applications from candidates with a background in the automotive industry, we understand that everyone started without experience at one point, so we relish applications for people looking to begin their automotive career with us. The key attributes and skills we look for in candidates are:
- Experience going above and beyond for customers.
- A full UK manual driving licence
- An interest and passion for the automotive industry
- Fantastic communication skills with both colleagues and customers
- Previous experience with sales would be highly advantageous
- An ability to stay organised and maintain your own schedule
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Once you have joined and been trained in the position you will be expected to demonstrate the following:
- An ability to promote the Allen Motor Group brand and all the benefits that a customer will experience
- Showcasing a passion for the product and customer through the sharing of knowledge – in person, over the phone and virtually
- Providing an outstand customer handover experience
- Carrying out test drives
- Effectively managing an online diary system
