Senior Beauty Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Beauty therapist/compementary therapist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a flair for beauty treatments and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a therapist, you will be responsible for enhancing clients' appearance through various beauty services, ensuring they leave feeling rejuvenated and satisfied.

At the gates to beauty we take pride in providing 5 star treatments, our clients are our first priority instead of running a salon like a conveyer belt, we take pride in taking time with every treatment to ensure anyone who comes in for any small or big treatments feels special.

We do offer variety of treatments such as: Facials, massages, waxing, nails, threading, pedicure, manicure, makeup, laser hair reduction, body sculpting, cryolipolysis and much more, check the website to understand what you will be offering

Full protocol training will be provided to ensure that you can work on your own, and according to our standards, therefore we need a therapist with good experienced background, who is compassionate about helping others and making our clinets feel like a queen when they visit the gates to beauty.

We do have elderly and disabled clientale so someone who understands the patience it requires, is an ideal candidate.

Anyone who can do most of the treatments from the menu is an ideal candidate but if you think you are a confident therapist who will learn and adapt please apply for the role.

Please​ only apply for this job if you want to commit for atleast a year, anyone who is already self employed or running thier own business, will not be considered for the role as this conflicts the clientale.

There will be 3 stages of hiring process:

An informal interview over the phone, if you are successfull, you will be invited for face to face formal interview and the last stage will be a trade test for massage, pedicure and waxing.

A successful candidate can start immediately, with first day containing a formal protocol training and providing treatments to clients.

Duties

• Perform a range of beauty treatments, including makeup application, facials, manicures, and pedicures.
• Consult with clients to understand their beauty needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques to provide clients with the best services possible.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication.
• Manage appointments and maintain accurate records of client services.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with clients and understand their requirements.
• Experience in makeup application is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in beauty therapy or cosmetology are preferred but not essential.
• Level 3 beauty or a foundation degree in Complementary therapies is ideal
• A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continually learn and develop skills.

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
