Role: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Rotating Sites in Bournemouth - Dorsett Area

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

ProEconomy are looking for an enthusiastic Field Engineer to join our growing team to provide water hygiene services across different sites in the country. This role will involve traveling to different sites to complete a range of tasks previously discussed and reporting the outcome through our internal software.

The role of the Water Hygiene Engineer is to help ProEconomy fulfil the water hygiene PPM and remedial work contracts and ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard with a good experience for the client.

The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

· TMV strip down, services, failsafe, and replacement.

· Tank Cleaning and Inspection

· Collection of water samples (Legionella, Pseudomonas and Chemical)

· Temperature monitoring

· Flushing of outlets

· Removal of deadlegs / pipework

· Local Risk assessment and preparation of remedial works

· Local and Site Chlorination

· Expansion Vessel Service

· Water Softener Plant Service

· Logbook update

· Completion of works and reporting through internal software.

· Report to Client and Client Relations Team in the office.

What are the essentials?

Min requirements: GCSE (or equivalent) Maths, English – C or above

Previous experience as a water hygiene engineer (1 year in healthcare or 3 years in other sectors)

Clean Driving License

High degree of trust and integrity - comfortable with handling confidential information

Excellent communication skills to liaise with client and staff members on sites.

Accurate data input skills & attention to detail

Ability to work as part of a small team with a 'can do' attitude.

Ability to work independently after training.

Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenging situations.

What would make you great?

More than 2 years' experience working in water hygiene in healthcare.

NVQ Plumbing Level 2 or higher.

A desire to join an innovative and expanding company.

Deep knowledge of water system and legionella bacteria.
