We're seeking an inspirational and engaging SEN Teacher who shares our commitment to creating an ambitious, therapeutic and person-centred learning environment. If you have a deep passion for teaching children with SEN and want to make a real difference every day, we want to hear from you.

About Us

Haywards Farm School is part of Amegreen Education – an innovative and expanding network that includes alternative learning farm provisions, a therapy centre and children's homes across rural West Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Following growing local demand and success, we are proud to announce the opening of our first independent school in West Berkshire.

We are dedicated to improving life chances for children with SEN and those who are looked after, helping every young person discover their unique talents within a nurturing and dynamic setting.

We're looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher who will:

  • Bring proven experience and a track record of good or outstanding classroom practice
  • Deliver creative, inspiring and engaging lessons that motivate children to reach their full potential
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills and high expectations for pupil achievement
  • Be driven to raise standards and support the development of a broad, exciting curriculum
  • Embrace collaboration, professional growth and a genuine team spirit
  • Always put children first and go the extra mile for our pupils and their families
  • Be committed to safeguarding and understand the importance of keeping every child safe

At Haywards Farm School, we value our team and their wellbeing. Here's what you can look forward to:

  • Free daily delicious school lunches and refreshments
  • School-issued iPad and laptop (if required)
  • Emotional and wellbeing support from our HR partners and on-site team
  • A relaxed, casual dress code
  • Private use of the company caravan (when not in use for children)
  • Continuous professional development and supportive leadership teams

Experience

Essential: Previous experience teaching SEN pupils in KS1 and/or KS2.

If you're ready to inspire, engage and transform young lives – while being supported by passionate colleagues and leaders – apply today and join us on our mission.

Our school is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.

***The post is subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks including an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.***
