Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in London for a Freight Forwarder (Export Clerk). Responsibilities include managing and coordinating export shipments, liaising with customers and freight carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation solutions, and maintaining accurate shipping and trade documentation. The role requires a focus on export logistics, customer service, and facilitating smooth freight forwarding and transportation operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation
  • Knowledge of Export procedures and practices
  • Experience in Customer Service and communication within the logistics sector
  • Strong understanding of forwarding and shipment coordination processes
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage documentation accurately
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems used for freight and logistics
  • Teamwork skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in freight operations or logistics is highly beneficial
