Apple's Sales organisation generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team, is in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.

As part of our WW Sales Transformation and Solutions team, you will be responsible for managing Apple's latest and best-in-class reporting platform, that enables the business to drive sales and support one of the largest channel operations in the world.

Description

In this role, you will:

Drive the strategic vision for sales performance analytics and dashboards, leverage your understanding of data (attributes, measures, KPIs), reporting methodologies, and knowledge of sales motions.

Partner with peers and global cross-functional stakeholders on data and reporting products to support, build, test, and deploy functional and reporting solutions that improve strategic and operational decision making, build customer satisfaction, and increase efficiency for the sales organisation.

Create and execute on a roadmap for embedding insights and AI/ML capabilities across the reporting platforms you manage - for sales, sales operations and sales finance users.

Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and beyond, including product strategy, roadmaps, feature definition, and go-live strategy/change management.

Conduct extensive market research, analyse industry trends, and leverage emerging technologies to drive product decisions.

Create and deliver presentations to executive leadership, at a worldwide and regional level, outlining the vision and roadmap of the product.

Collaborate with PMO and steering committees to communicate the project status, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and align with department standards to ensure that high quality products are delivered on time and within budget

Facilitate communications with global cross functional partners to understand their goals and challenges, and translate them into requirements.

Participate and support business stakeholders in data governance, and data security discussions for key data attributes, metrics and KPIs alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Knowledge of and experience with emerging AI/ML technologies that can be integrated into the reporting platforms you will manage.

Ability to work in a matrix organisation and navigate effectively through clear communication and relationship building.

Minimum Qualifications

Extensive experience in Product management for business critical and highly visible Business intelligence products

Strong business analysis skills, including capturing and documenting reporting requirements, understanding business needs, impacts and tradeoffs, conducting interviews and workshops, requirements harmonisation, and proposing solutions

Strong data analysis skills along with experience in detailed analysis of source systems, data profiling, measures and KPI definitions

Experience with querying of data and data sources to provide analysis and best practices to present data to the customer

Experience working with BI platforms and tools such as Business Objects, Tableau, ThoughtSpot or others

Experience with building enterprise caliber reporting applications at scale

Solid understanding of data architecture concepts and reporting methodologies

Experience in delivering projects, while working with multiple teams and across multiple time zones

Ability to simplify complex concepts and effectively tailor approach to different audiences

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
