Pay:

  • £14.90 per hour
  • 45p per mile for drivers
  • Travel time paid at £12.21

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Care Coordinator to efficiently organise and manage care rotas, ensuring optimal service delivery.
  • Conduct initial assessments for new service users to design personalised care packages, followed by regular evaluations to ensure ongoing quality.
  • Facilitate introductions between new carers and clients, providing comprehensive training on the practical aspects of care delivery.
  • Deliver direct care visits as needed, dedicating at least 50% of your working hours to hands-on support for clients.
  • Provide after-hours "on-call" support in rotation with senior staff, ensuring continuous care availability.
  • Conduct quality assurance visits as assigned by the Registered Manager, contributing to the maintenance of high care standards.
  • Perform NVQ assessments for carers once appropriately qualified, fostering professional development and skill enhancement.
  • Conducting monthly quality audits on Care logs

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • Able to work alternative weekends (this makes it fair for all staff).
