The Role

To provide a professional service to all our customers, with a friendly and helpful attitude to deliver an exceptional customer service experience.

What we ask from you:

  • to carry out your duties in a professional and productive way
  • to ensure all rounds are completed efficiently and on time
  • to drive in a safe and economic manner
  • to comply with the companies health and safety policy, work instructions and guidance documents
  • to accurately record your working day using a company tablet
  • to ensure customers premises/properties are left in a tidy condition
  • to effectively communicate with the Traffic Controllers at Head Office
  • to report any near misses or accidents in a timely manner following the correct procedures
  • to wear company supplied uniform and issued PPE
  • to be flexible, reliable and a team player
  • to be able work on your own initiative
  • ability to drive, or undertake training, on all vehicles i.e. Trade Waste, FEL, Skips, RORO, Wagon and Drag, Artic

Experience required for the role:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Driver CPC card essential
  • Knowledge of Tachograph legislation, DVSA Rules and Regulations
  • Flexibility to work on varied routes as and when required to meet the needs of the business
  • Available to work weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota basis
  • Local area knowledge beneficial
  • Waste Industry experience advantageous
  • Physically fit and robust
  • 4am start

This is a full-time permanent role offering:

  • £ £15.00 per hour
  • Day in lieu for working a Bank Holiday
  • Ongoing development and training including contribution for CPC
  • 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays, increasing to 33 days including Banks Holidays after 5 years service

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £16.22 per hour
