About the Role

We are seeking a driven, commercially-minded Recruitment Consultant to lead our pipeline of freelance Student Recruitment Consultants. This is not a traditional agency sourcing role. We generate a high volume of inbound interest from individuals who want to become freelance student referral consultants. Your job is to convert these warm applicants into active, trained, and productive members of our referral network.

You will run structured onboarding calls, deliver training, motivate performance, and ensure each consultant understands how to generate qualified student referrals. Your success directly influences the number of enrolled students and, in turn, your commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct onboarding calls with pre-booked prospective freelance consultants (no cold sourcing required).
  • Convert interested applicants into active freelance Student Recruitment Consultants.
  • Deliver simple, repeatable training on how to refer students into our partner universities.
  • Track consultant activity and identify those who require follow-up, coaching, or re-engagement.
  • Maintain a high-quality pipeline of active consultants.
  • Drive performance across the consultant network with consistent follow-up and clear expectations.
  • Work closely with the Admissions and Marketing teams to ensure consultant performance aligns with enrolment timelines.

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience in recruitment, sales, or a performance-driven commercial role.
  • Confident, energetic communication style with the ability to lead calls and influence outcomes.
  • Strong follow-up discipline; proactive in chasing, closing, and activating people.
  • Comfortable working to targets and motivated by commission-based earnings.
  • Organised and able to move a high volume of candidates through a structured onboarding process.
  • A bias for action and results rather than just process adherence.

Previous experience in education is not required. What matters is commercial drive, pace, and the ability to convert.

Compensation

  • £35,000 base salary
  • Uncapped commission linked to the performance and output of your consultant network
