Optometric Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our professional eye care team. Duties

• Assisting optometrists during eye examinations and patient consultations
• Managing patient appointments, scheduling follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records
• Providing excellent customer service by answering patient queries and offering guidance on eyewear options
• Maintaining stock levels of optical supplies and ensuring the cleanliness of all clinical areas

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate a professional attitude at all times
• A genuine interest in eye health and patient care, with a compassionate approach towards patients

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 – 37.5 per week
