Choose your challenge – Café Assistant

Our Café is where our guests head to for either a post Ninja refuel, to cheer on their fellow Ninja's as they tackle new challenges, or perhaps a quick spit stop to discuss tactics. Your role as Café Assistant is to ensure that that our guests have their food & drink delivered to them in a friendly & efficient way. Multi tasking & extraordinary organisation skills are needed in this role, as you will also be responsible for working alongside your fellow Party

Ninja's in preparing and serving party food & playing a key part in making sure these run like clock work.

Your daily mission

  • Manage the café in the absence of the café manager
  • Serve cold & hot drinks
  • Serve confectionary, cakes and other readily prepared food
  • Cook and prepare basic snacks
  • Clean tables and counter surface
  • Keep kitchen clean throughout day and carry out major clean at end of day
  • Take card payments & process orders
  • Prepare and serve party food and contribute to the smooth running of parties in co-ordination with

Party Team on shift

  • Wash up dishes and cups etc
  • Demonstrate excellence in Customer Service
  • Serve on reception desk as required
  • Take and check bookings
  • Provide excellence in customer relations giving guidance and support
  • Sell branded items at reception
  • Issue coloured wrist bands
  • Assist in cleaning at end of the day including vacuuming park and cleaning wash rooms

Your Ninja allies

  • Work closely with other Ninja team members through being true to our values & supporting one another with whatever challenges throughout the shift .
  • Work closely with the Elite Ninja's (that's our Supervisors & Managers) to ensure our missions for the day are achieved
  • Work closely with the Park team in arranging and running parties

Ninjutsu (experience/skills/qualifications to non-Ninjas)

Essential

  • Experience of working within catering in a customer facing industry
  • Previous experience within a café/QSR (quick service restaurant)

Desirable

  • Food hygiene

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
