Capital Accountant

Basingstoke, circa £50k + bonus

Are you a qualified finance professional with a passion for collaboration, and continuous improvement? We're looking for a Capital Accountant to join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and driving operational excellence across the global finance operations.

Key Responsibilities


• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient task execution


• Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting across international entities


• Provide supervision and support in the absence of senior accountants


• Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)


• Oversee accounting activities across multiple legal entities


• Maintain systems of accounts and records


• Assist in preparing audited financial statements


• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and related processes


• Support the Head of Capital Accounting on varied tasks


• Lead process reviews with domain teams


• Identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications & Experience

Newly / fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA

Accountancy practice or commercial finance background

Experience of either Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, IFRS 16 or Capital Accounting within

a multi entity / global business or gained within professional practice

Proven experience in month-end close and financial analysis

Strong technical accounting knowledge and problem-solving skills

Self-starter with a curious mindset and excellent stakeholder management

Ambitious and career driven, a quick learner.
