About the Role:
Atlas Hotels is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cambridge. If you have previous experience in property maintenance and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you While qualifications are not essential, experience in plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering would be beneficial.
In a Nutshell:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our hotel, ensuring that guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are always in top condition. You'll perform both planned and reactive maintenance, handling a variety of tasks to keep the hotel running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Complete reactive maintenance tasks when a job is logged in our management system.
- Fix issues within rooms to return them to service quickly and efficiently.
- Manage contractors on-site when required.
- Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance and health & safety requirements.
- Working alongside all colleagues within Atlas
- Liaise with your Area Maintenance Manager for larger maintenance projects and refurbishments.
- Share proactive insights with the Operational, Property, and Maintenance teams to improve guest services.
What Experience Do You Need?
- Demonstrable experience in building maintenance.
- Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems or similar.
- Trade experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering is highly advantageous.
- Computer literacy (for compliance and audit tasks).
- Experience in water management compliance is a plus.
