The Position: Receptionist
Job Type: Full-Time -Non-Exempt-Hourly
Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Valid Drivers license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related customer management software.
- Ability to work independently.
- Typing 40 wpm.
Responsibilities:
- Answers telephones and directs callers to the appropriate department.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise with or without supervision.
- Continually learn about new products.
- Understanding and implementing safety techniques and procedures.
- Respond to customer requests and questions in a professional manner.
- Take, retrieve and deliver messages for various personnel.
- Input and update current and new customer information.
- Manage appointment calendars for assigned management staff.
- Assist department manager(s) with routing and scheduling services.
- Assists with office inventory monitoring, ordering, receiving, and stocking.
- Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and retrieving or sending mail.
- Up-sell and sell additional products/services to existing clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
