Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for ensuring the safety and functionality of fire protection systems. As a Fire Sprinkler Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler pumps in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • service and maintain fire sprinkler pumps
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of existing fire sprinkler pumps to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues with the fire sprinkler pump, performing necessary servicing, repairs or replacements as required.
  • Use hand tools and welding equipment to build and modify system components.
  • Collaborate with other technicians, engineers and contractors on larger projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections and repairs.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical, electrical or marine engineering
  • Experience using hand tools effectively and safely.
  • Ability to plumb systems accurately to meet safety standards.
  • Basic maths skills for measuring, calculating, and estimating materials needed for installations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
