E-commerce Bookkeeper

Pusula Ltd is a UK-based e-commerce company and a trusted Amazon vendor and seller, offering a wide range of products across multiple categories. We are a fast-growing business focused on operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and sustainable growth.

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who understands the unique challenges of e-commerce accounting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Xero and Linnworks, with experience managing bookkeeping, stock control, invoicing, and financial reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records in Xero.
• Handle sales and purchase invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely entry.
• Perform bank reconciliations and correct bank allocations for all transactions.
• Reconcile Amazon settlements, credit cards, and other sales channels.
• Maintain and reconcile stock control records, ensuring consistency between Xero and Linnworks.
• Provide advice and best practices on Xero setup, chart of accounts, and process improvements.
• Manage VAT submissions, payroll, and liaise with HMRC or external accountants when needed.
• Prepare monthly management reports, including profit & loss and cash flow summaries.
• Support financial planning by identifying areas for cost control and efficiency.
• Keep accurate and organized financial documentation for audit and compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience (preferably within an e-commerce or retail business).
• Proficiency in Xero is essential (including bank reconciliation, invoicing, and reporting).
• Experience with Linnworks for order and stock management.
• Strong understanding of Amazon Seller/Vendor accounting and settlement reports.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of UK VAT and payroll processes.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with multi-channel e-commerce (e.g., eBay, Shopify).
• Familiarity with Xero integrations and automation tools.
• AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
