Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks within the kitchen and dining area.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
  • Assist in food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen.
  • Have Barista skills
  • Handle payments accurately using basic maths skills for transactions.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns.
  • Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while ensuring excellent service quality.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary basics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Time management skills to efficiently handle busy periods.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently when required.
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the guest experience.
