We are a small family run independent business we recycle end of life Tyre's and are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join are team.

Duty's will involve day and some evening shifts. This is a zero-hour contract but a permanent position.

PAY is £140 per day.

Start Date: ASAP

Type of Work: This role involves the movement of tyres on pallets and stillages loaded onto a trailer from our yard and delivered to various individual destinations plus collection.

Available Shifts: Monday to Friday, start times (Various)

  • Key Responsibilities: Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles efficiently and safely.
  • Transport goods according to the assigned schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle checks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 license.
  • CPC and Digi Tacho card.
  • Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
  • Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility.

Experience:

  • Truck driving: 2 year (required)

Language:

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (required)

  • Driver CPC (required)
  • Tachograph Card (required)
