An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager *Michelin Star 2020*, AA Restaurant of the Year England 2013/14 and Listed in the Top 50 UK Restaurants in The Good Food Guide 2020 with a Cooking Score of 7/10

The Artichoke is delighted to have been awarded its first Michelin star and this is a fantastic time for a talented Assistant Manager to join this forward thinking creative, restaurant offering modern fine dining combined with a high level of personable, professional service. The contemporary interior revolve around the culinary theatre of an open kitchen and a private dining room with its own wine cellar. The restaurant is set in the beautiful Chiltern Hills with close links to London and features the innovative cuisine of award winning Chef Patron Laurie Gear and his team.

The successful Assistant Manager should have the following qualities:

  • Good business acumen and excel skills, experience of cost and sales reporting.
  • Proven previous experience in a similar high level of restaurant service at least 2-3 Rosette+.
  • Experience of reservations and private dining bookings. 
  • An ability to train others to a high standard. 
  • Well presented with personality, charisma and excellent communication skills. 
  • You should have a passion for fine food, wines and delivering outstanding customer service and highly motivated to be a part of an existing professional and driven team.
