Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. Duties

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Load and unload items from the vehicle, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Maintain communication with the warehouse team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages encountered during transit.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential, with a strong understanding of safe driving practices.
  • A valid driver's licence is required; experience driving larger vehicles or commercial driving is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial, including knowledge of loading and unloading procedures.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties, ensuring that all items are handled safely.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members alike.
