Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and personable Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting salon operations, assisting clients, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for beauty and customer service, and the ability to multitask effectively. Duties

  • Greet clients warmly and assist with their enquiries at the front desk
  • Manage appointment scheduling and client bookings efficiently
  • Support stylists and beauticians with their daily routines and preparations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon environment
  • Assist with product sales through upselling techniques
  • Prepare treatment rooms for services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or hair styling
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
  • Support store management in stock organisation and inventory checks
  • Mentor new team members and contribute to a positive team atmosphere

Skills

  • Strong communication skills with an approachable manner
  • Experience in store management or front desk operations is advantageous
  • Knowledge of barbering, eyelash extensions, or makeup application is desirable
  • Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining professionalism
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Mentoring abilities to support team development
  • Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
