Acquisition & Development Manager

Hours: 37.5 per week | Hybrid (Northampton HO & London office)Bright Horizons UK is seeking an experienced Acquisition and Development Manager to drive growth by sourcing and acquiring sites for new nursery developments, conversions, and fit-outs.
Experience in a similar role and relevant Education is essential
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and research new property opportunities, including acquisitions.
- Build strong relationships with developers, agents, and investors.
- Lead due diligence, feasibility assessments, and financial modelling.
- Negotiate leases and purchase agreements.
- Prepare business cases for board approval and oversee development to opening.
- Monitor performance of new sites post-opening.
- Proven experience in property acquisition and development (education, retail, or leisure preferred).
- Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of planning requirements and L&T law.
- Degree in Property/Development and ideally MRICS (or working towards).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Relevant degree, post graduate degree, and professional qualification in Property/Development
- Evidence of continuous professional development (essential)
- Chartered Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) (or working towards) (desirable)
- Full, clean driving licence (essential)
