Housekeeping Assistant

Schedule: Monday - Sunday

Working Hours: Between 9am - 6pm Monday - Sunday.

Contracts: A variety of contracts available - 32 hours, 28 hours and 24 hours

One Port Street is so much more than beautiful apartments. It's a home in the heart of the city that our residents make their own. We're looking for our next Housekeeper to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our residents whilst ensuring the upkeep of our premium site & facilities are maintained at the highest standards throughout their shift.

Role Responsibilities:

Who we are looking for:

o An experienced customer service professional, well-versed in delivering premium experiences to residents & guests.

o Our operations run seamlessly with the support of a variety of technology systems and software; our Housekeepers must be technologically astute.

o Excellent communication skills. English will be the primary spoken language; however multi-lingual skills would be warmly welcomed.

o Adaptability, creativity & positivity.

o Maintain waste management areas adhering to health & safety regulations, ensuring potential hazards are addressed / cleaned / tidied / reorganised as required.

o Cleaning apartments, including bathrooms and kitchens, reception, hallways, stairwells, working spaces, shared dining areas and other shared spaces.

o Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming carpets and hard floors.

o Wiping down surfaces such as handrails, door handles, light switches, and furniture.

o Dusting and polishing furniture and other surfaces, polishing metal fixtures and surfaces.

o Periodically performing deep cleaning tasks like washing windows, shampooing carpets, or cleaning appliances.

o Disinfecting high-touch areas.

o Cleaning windows and glass doors.

o Housekeepers must understand and follow "Control of Substances Hazardous to Health" (COSHH) regulations to protect their health and safety when using cleaning chemicals.

o Resilience, with an ability to effectively navigate unexpected situations.

o Able to carry out tasks that may involve extended periods of standing and repetitive movements, with reasonable adjustments considered where required.

o Flexibility: Our facilities are open to residents 24 hours a day, 356 days a year including all bank holidays, festive & religious breaks. Where festive and religious celebrations require time off, we will always try to accommodate, however flexibility from our Night Concierge is imperative to be available as required to ensure continuous service to residents.
