Bathroom Fitter

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various fitting techniques and the ability to work with a range of materials and tools. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all components are accurately assembled and installed according to specifications, contributing to the overall quality and functionality of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the necessary materials and tools for each project.
• Assemble, fit, and install components using various techniques including welding, plumbing, and fabrication.
• Operate power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform masonry work as required, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
• Conduct painting and plastering tasks to finish surfaces as needed.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and roofers to ensure seamless integration of work.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fitting process, providing solutions to ensure project timelines are met.

Skills

• Proficiency in using power tools and machinery relevant to fitting tasks.
• Strong skills in welding, plumbing, masonry, painting, plastering, building, and fabrication.
• Experience in carpentry is advantageous for this role.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges on-site.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical fitness is essential due to the manual nature of the work involved.
