Baker Charles is partnering with a dynamic, customer-focused restaurant group (part of a larger hospitality group, private equity–backed) to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager into a newly created commercial finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth, ambitious business at a pivotal stage of its journey, working closely with the Finance Director and managing a Finance Analyst. You'll play a key role in driving performance, delivering insights, and influencing senior decision-making. The business is well known for its inclusive, vibrant, and forward-thinking culture.


Business Partnering & Insight
– act as a trusted partner to Operations, Marketing, and senior stakeholders, driving data-led decision-making.


Commercial Analysis
– monitor performance across sites, lead pricing/margin analysis, and support profitability strategies.


Financial Planning & Reporting
– own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning while producing insightful board-level reporting.


Projects & Systems
– lead finance transformation initiatives, improve reporting automation, and build robust dashboards.

You will be a
qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
with strong experience in commercial finance or financial analysis, ideally gained in a multi-site, retail, FMCG, or other fast-paced environment. Highly numerate and confident working with large datasets, you'll have excellent Excel and financial modelling skills, alongside the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.

As a natural business partner, you'll be comfortable working with and challenging senior stakeholders, using your commercial acumen and problem-solving skills to influence key decisions. You'll bring a proactive, hands-on approach, with the credibility to add value across both operational and strategic initiatives. An interest in the hospitality, food & beverage, or consumer sectors is important, and experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker would be an advantage.
