Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and be proficient in various plumbing techniques and tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team on various projects, including residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine plumbing layouts.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks.
  • Perform pipe threading and assembly for various plumbing applications.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure timely project completion.
  • Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for the installation of plumbing materials.
  • Provide maintenance person services as needed for remodeling projects.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing installations.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
  • Prior experience on construction sites is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as necessary for job duties.
  • Carpentry skills are an asset for remodeling projects.
