Responsibilities and Duties
- Assisting the dentist
- Ensuring instruments are sterilised for use
- Ensuring the surgery is clean and set up for each patient

No previous dental experience necessary. All training will be provided on the job and in-college learning.
The applicant must have achieved Grade 4 or above in both GCSE Mathematics and English.
The successful candidate will be expected to continue education and training to gain further qualifications so that they can undertake greater responsibilities within the practice.

Summary
As an Apprentice/Trainee Dental Nurse, you will be integral to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive dental environment. Reporting to the lead dentist, your role will involve assisting with various dental procedures and ensuring patient comfort. You will utilise your core skills in patient care, along with relevant skills in communication, organization, and IT, to facilitate smooth operations. Your commitment to learning and developing your nursing skills will be essential as you contribute to the overall success of our dental practice and enhance patient experiences.

Expected hours: 38 per week
