With a community of over 1,300 team members worldwide, we embrace diversity and inclusion, and champion growth and development. Our success is built on teamwork, courage, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
As a Planner (Digital), you'll be a key player in supporting the delivery of our Digital strategy and financial objectives. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the right products are delivered at the right times, tailored to the needs of our target accounts and consumers. Your focus will be on driving availability to enhance sell-through rates while also maintaining a relevant and fresh product offering. WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
As our Planner (Digital) you will be responsible for:
• Lending your expertise in planning the seasonal product selection and maintaining optimal inventory levels that align seamlessly with departmental budget targets and overarching strategy.
• Delivering accurate weekly and monthly inventory reports, with a keen eye on SKU productivity during monthly and end-of-season reviews.
• Planning and control of online digital channels, including the proactive management of 'out of stocks' situations, identifying replacements, and maximising free stock opportunities to meet targets.
• Working cross-functionally to drive process improvements with the wider planning team, ensuring a alignment and clarity on stock, sales, and inventory positions across all digital channels.
• Be the go-to person for ensuring inventory availability and demand forecasting for our online marketplaces on a weekly basis, providing insights that drive successful marketing campaigns, business focus areas, trials, and events.
WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?
You just might be our next superstar if you have the following skills and experience:
• Ability to interpret and analyse sales data, trends, and market research to make informed decisions.
• An understanding of budgets, profit margins, and financial implications of merchandising decisions.
• The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various teams, including marketing, sales, and product development
• Effective time management skill, and the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently.
• Produce pre season forecasts at line level and reforecast on core lines based on performance.
• Prepare and submit monthly buys for sign off keeping within OTB targets and to the buying calendar deadlines.
• Proficiency in maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing overstock or stockouts.
• Knowledge of the target markets, customer behavior, and preferences.
• Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, consumer preferences, and industry trends.
We want you to live our company principles, bringing a strong consumer focus, while always looking for ways to improve and grow in your role. Take ownership of your work and be proactive in solving problems whilst communicating openly and treating everyone with respect and kindness. And, of course, let your creativity shine by bringing your unique style and individuality to the Pentland Brands Team.
