Buss Murton Law is a well-established and respected law firm with offices in Tunbridge Wells and Cranbrook. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality legal advice through our experienced and dedicated team.

We're looking for a motivated Private Client Lawyer to join our friendly team in Cranbrook on a part-time basis. While based in Cranbrook, you'll be part of our wider Private Client department, working collaboratively with colleagues across our offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of private client matters: wills, trusts, probate, estate administration, and lasting powers of attorney
• Provide clear, empathetic legal advice to clients
• Manage billing and cashflow effectively
• Meet targets for time recording, billing and cost recovery
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Promote the firm's services and participate in marketing and networking activities
• Ensure compliance with Lexcel standards and regulatory obligations

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working collaboratively but is confident working independently
• Is target-driven and committed to delivering results
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong client focus
• Embraces technology and continuous learning
• With experience in Private Client; ideally 2 years+ PQE although candidates not meeting this criterion but with the necessary experience, will be considered.
