Multi-Skilled Tradesperson – Property Refurbishment & Development

Carlisle, Cumbria (site-based)

Monday to Friday, 7am – 6pm

About Us

BDR Properties is a fast-growing property development and management company based in the North of the UK. We work across a wide range of projects — from HMO conversions and full property refurbishments to short-term rentals and ongoing maintenance.

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our expanding team — someone who takes pride in their work, keeps standards high, and can handle a variety of tasks confidently.

Role Overview

You'll be working on residential refurbishment and development sites, completing everything from flooring and finishing to snagging and general maintenance. The right person will be proactive, dependable, and able to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install LVT, vinyl, and carpet flooring.
  • Fit shower boards and assist with bathroom installations.
  • Complete snagging lists and final finish work to bring projects up to handover standard.
  • Carry out plastering, prepping, and painting.
  • Perform general labouring and site maintenance.
  • Support the refurb team to meet tight deadlines.
  • Maintain tidy, safe, and compliant working conditions.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience across multiple trades:
  • Flooring (LVT, vinyl, carpet)
  • Shower boarding and bathroom finishing
  • Painting and decorating
  • Basic plastering and site prep
  • Snagging and finishing work
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-driven.
  • Able to work alone or as part of a small team.
  • Own tools and transport preferred.
  • CSCS card is an advantage but not essential.

The Details

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 6pm (occasional Saturdays optional).
  • Location: Carlisle and surrounding areas.
  • Pay: Weekly Pay
  • Start Date: Immediate or January 2026.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
