Solve the Problems That Matter Most
FinQuery is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will engage prospects through cold outreach to communicate how FinQuery can solve lease accounting challenges. You will be responsible for cold-calling prospects and educating the market about the power of FinQuery and generating opportunities with net-new customers to support and enable sales Account Executives (AEs) to close revenue-generating deals. At FinQuery, our Sales Development Representatives are pivotal to our company's success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing sales team and will be our specialists in researching prospects, discovering pain points, getting access to and setting meetings with decision-makers. Specifically, you will leverage your past cold calling and/or lead generation experience to communicate with potential clients via phone, emails, and LinkedIn to develop an interest in FinQuery's software. We believe that the most successful sellers have a passionate and supportive team behind them. As future Account Executives, our SDRs allow the current closing team to focus on conducting meetings with prospects and increasing the overall productivity of the sales organisation.

Reports to SDR Manager
Must be based in the UK and eligible to work in the UK How You'll Make an Impact:
- You'll be integral to building our sales pipeline and business by consistently setting quality meetings
- Execute an established and successful sales process, leveraging weekly coaching and the latest technology to achieve your goals
- Actively participate in the SDR training programme, engaging in virtual classroom-style learning, role-plays, and practice sessions to master your craft
- Generate sales-qualified leads and establish the value of our solutions by prospecting via cold calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Build rapport with prospects and skillfully uncover their needs after initial engagement
- Successfully manage a mix of marketing-sourced leads (approximately 40%) and self-generated prospects
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), including daily activity metrics and monthly quota attainment
- Demonstrate mastery of your skills to follow a clearly defined career path, setting you up for promotion into Account Executive, Channel Partner, or other growth opportunities within the organisation
- Six months to two years of relevant sales experience required; internship experience will be considered
- Prior cold calling experience is essential
- Familiarity with the UK business landscape and experience selling into UK organisations
- Possessing a positive outlook and a solutions-oriented approach, thriving on challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Superb writing, communication, and listening skills, allowing you to effectively handle objections and convert skeptics into advocates
- A proven ability to forge strong connections and overcome rejection to consistently achieve results
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrating grit, a strong work ethic, coachability, confidence, curiosity, self-awareness, and a focus on self-development
- Knowledge of sales tools, such as Salesforce, Hubspot, SalesLoft, and ZoomInfo
- Previous SaaS and/or FinTech experience
