Overview

We are seeking a Counter balance Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload goods
  • Manage materials handling tasks, including stacking, sorting, and relocating stock within the warehouse
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues
  • Support in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines

Experience

  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent)
  • Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment

This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic logistics environment while contributing significantly to operational success.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 1 month

Pay: £13.00-£13.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
