Responsibilities:

As an Academic Tutor, your responsibilities include:

· Providing one-to-one or small group academic tutoring

· Collaborating with the Greenhouse Learning management team to understand students' needs

· Planning and delivering tailored tutoring sessions, preparing materials for both session work and homework

· Completing timely lesson reports using Greenhouse Learning's online system

· Maintaining clear communication with clients and the Greenhouse Learning team

The Role

As part of our committed team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students of all ages, covering subjects such as GCSE and A Level Science, Maths, English, Languages, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Geography, History, Politics, Business Studies, Philosophy, and more. From providing support for the 11+ exams to addressing the unique needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), our tutors play a pivotal role in creating a tailored and engaging learning experience for every individual.

Hours

Hours can be flexible to suit your schedule. Work available both in daytime hours during the week, and also at evenings and weekends.

Our Expectations of Tutors:

· Timely submission (within 48 hours) of tutoring session reports

· Commitment to completing the tutoring programme signed up for by the client

· Delivering excellent tutoring and academic coaching, measured by termly client feedback and student progress.

Safeguarding:

At Greenhouse Learning, safeguarding is our top priority. Therefore, candidates for the Academic Tutor position will undergo a comprehensive Safer Recruitment process before being accepted into the role.

Pay Rates:

· £19.00-£21.00 per hour for one-to-one online tutoring lessons.

· £23.00-£25.00 per hour for one-to-one in-person tutoring lessons.
