We are seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our Night Shift. The hours are Monday to Wednesday 6:30pm to 6:00am and Thursday 6:00pm to 1:30am. Base rate of £12.85 per hour (rising to £13.85 based on skills acquired) plus 25%-night shift differential allowance.

We also provide a through induction programme, buddy system and comprehensive on the job training in order to give you the best possible opportunity to succeed.

The role:

You will be a key part of a customer focused team responsible for order assembly, consolidation focused team responsible for order assembly, consolidation of orders and loading of vehicles for delivery to our customers.

The successful person:

  • Will have a strong work ethic, a focus on teamwork; and the drive to continuously improve
  • Will display accuracy and attention to detail at all times to ensure our products leave our warehouse in great condition
  • Physical stamina will be important as manual handling is a key part of the job
  • Will have the ability to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities
  • Experience of working within a busy warehouse environment would be an advantage

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Good communication skills
  • Good team working skills

Desirable

  • 2 years' experience in a FMCG warehouse/distribution centre
  • Basic computer skills
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • Forklift certification
  • Manual handling
