DFT Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DFT Engineer to join the dynamic silicon team of our customer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology in a collaborative and innovative environment. Visa can be considered for a candidate with the right skills for candidates already based in the UK
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, a deep understanding of production testing's impact on product success, and hands-on experience in areas such as RTL design, simulations, debugging, synthesis, STA, and DFT.
Responsibilities
As a DFT Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate with the silicon team to define DFT specifications and chip test interfaces
- Develop and implement DFT architecture and infrastructure
- Verify DFT features and implement design changes in partnership with the silicon team
- Generate structural test vectors, analyse coverage, and drive improvements
- Integrate third-party IPs into the DFT infrastructure
- Work closely with test engineers to bring up test vectors on silicon
Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years of industry experience in developing DFT specifications and driving DFT architecture and methodologies including experience in the following:
- In-depth knowledge of industrial standards and practices in DFT, including ATPG, JTAG, MBIST, and trade-offs between test quality and test time
- Solid understanding of design verification methodologies for validating DFT implementation in pre-silicon simulation
- Proficiency in debugging ATPG patterns, compressed ATPG patterns, MBIST, and JTAG-related issues
- Experience with STA constraints development and analysis for DFT modes and SDF simulations
- Hands-on experience in silicon bring-up, debug, and validation of DFT features
- Strong knowledge of digital integrated circuits and systems
- C/C++ and scripting languages like Tcl/Python
