We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DFT Engineer to join the dynamic silicon team of our customer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology in a collaborative and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, a deep understanding of production testing's impact on product success, and hands-on experience in areas such as RTL design, simulations, debugging, synthesis, STA, and DFT.

Responsibilities

As a DFT Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with the silicon team to define DFT specifications and chip test interfaces
  • Develop and implement DFT architecture and infrastructure
  • Verify DFT features and implement design changes in partnership with the silicon team
  • Generate structural test vectors, analyse coverage, and drive improvements
  • Integrate third-party IPs into the DFT infrastructure
  • Work closely with test engineers to bring up test vectors on silicon

Qualifications

A minimum of 4 years of industry experience in developing DFT specifications and driving DFT architecture and methodologies including experience in the following:

  • In-depth knowledge of industrial standards and practices in DFT, including ATPG, JTAG, MBIST, and trade-offs between test quality and test time
  • Solid understanding of design verification methodologies for validating DFT implementation in pre-silicon simulation
  • Proficiency in debugging ATPG patterns, compressed ATPG patterns, MBIST, and JTAG-related issues
  • Experience with STA constraints development and analysis for DFT modes and SDF simulations
  • Hands-on experience in silicon bring-up, debug, and validation of DFT features
  • Strong knowledge of digital integrated circuits and systems
  • C/C++ and scripting languages like Tcl/Python
