We have a great opportunity to bring a Senior IT Support Technician on board here at Polyframe.

You will be responsible for the sole IT resource on site, assisting in the day to day running of a busy manufacturing facility, supporting all IT systems and helpdesk requests.

You will be required to perform regular installations and updates for IT hardware and software systems, day to day server support. Working with the business systems team to support manufacturing systems such as Window Designer and production scan stations. Aswell of this you will be troubleshooting, identifying downtime issues, supporting our Microsoft 365 infrastructure and more.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar IT support role as well as the required skills

  • Working with Windows 11 desktop and laptops
  • Windows 2019 server and Hyper-V
  • Intune
  • Exchange server and Office 365
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Installing and supporting application software
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Maintaining formal IT documentation
  • IT Hardware – phone systems, printers, mobile phones, and active network equipment
  • Methodical working, ability to create and follow instructions
  • Becoming an excellent problem solver with flexible solutions – understanding and solving issues quickly for hardware, software and network
  • Able to work under pressure in a busy environment whilst remaining focussed and positive

What we offer:

Salary: £35,000-£40,000pa

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours
