Be active, have fun and make a real difference as a Play Worker at our brilliant Out of School Clubs.

  • Can you guide and support play, making sure that it's fun, creative and safe?
  • You will be supporting children age 5-11 before and after school.
  • We create a comfortable home from home environment where they can fuel up with breakfast before school and unwind after a busy day in the classroom.

Term time only, with hours 7.30am-9.00am and 3.00pm-6.00pm Monday to Friday.

We operate during school holidays so extra hours are available then

This is fulfilling part-time employment, some experience working with children is required. You will be working as part of a friendly dedicated team and building strong partnerships with parents. We have vacancies at schools across Leeds, please specify your chosen location on your application:

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage children in play activities to promote their social and emotional development.
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children in the childcare setting.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs.
  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area.
  • Collaborate with team members to support children's learning and development.
