Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Secretary to provide essential administrative support within our office environment for 3 days a week (Monday and then 2 further days to be agreed). The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, managing correspondence, and maintaining efficient office procedures. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in administrative roles to contribute to a dynamic team.
Duties
- Answering and directing phone calls with professional etiquette
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records using various software tools
- Managing filing systems—both electronic and physical—to ensure easy retrieval of information
- Supporting other administrative tasks as required to facilitate office efficiency
Skills
- Proven office experience with strong organisational abilities
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Experience with data entry and clerical work demonstrating attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute with high accuracy
- Administrative experience that demonstrates reliability and professionalism
