Overview

Health Nest is a brand-new salad bar, juice bar, and café located in Northways Parade, NW3. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused team members to join our vibrant opening team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a modern, fast-paced food service environment. Experience in a café, juice bar, or hospitality setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidates.

Key Duties

  • Prepare and serve fresh salads, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and café beverages (including coffee).
  • Take customer orders accurately and deliver prompt, friendly service.
  • Assist with food preparation, cutting ingredients, portioning, and salad assembly.
  • Maintain professional food presentation and ensure all items meet quality standards.
  • Keep the café, counter, prep area, and equipment clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Upsell menu items when appropriate to maximise sales.
  • Handle cash and card transactions confidently using the POS system.
  • Restock ingredients, manage displays, and support the team during busy periods.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and café cleanliness protocols.
  • Assist with café opening and closing duties.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a café, salad bar, juice bar, restaurant, or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene (Level 2 Food Safety is an advantage).
  • Barista or coffee-making experience is a bonus.
  • Basic maths skills for handling payments and stock.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Friendly, approachable, and great with customer interactions.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,420.00-£29,548.33 per year
