Working Pattern: weekdays/ weekends

Pay: Competitive, based on experience and job type (day rate or price work)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Plumber / Multiskilled Handyman to join our team on a self-employed basis. The role involves carrying out a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and repair works across our portfolio . You'll be expected to manage your own workload, ensure a high standard of workmanship, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs (e.g. taps, toilets, leaks, pipework, drainage).
  • Diagnose and resolve general maintenance issues across properties.
  • Carry out basic carpentry, painting/decorating, tiling, plaster patching, and minor electrical works (where qualified).
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance jobs.
  • Complete job sheets, record materials used, and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Liaise with tenants, clients, and office staff in a professional manner.
  • Provide quotations or feedback on works as requested.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a plumber or multiskilled tradesperson.
  • Good knowledge of general property maintenance and repair practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Full UK Driving License and own transport.
  • Own tools and equipment.
  • Public Liability Insurance (proof required).
  • CSCS card (desirable but not essential).
  • Right to work in the UK.
