Clinical Leader - Theatres (Recovery)

Bristol Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Full time | Includes weekend work

Up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience

As a Clinical Leader at our Bristol Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. With excellent leadership skills, you hold post-registration experience in care of patients, pre and post operatively, in everything from Orthopaedic, Gynae and Urology.  

Ideally, you will hold a Level 6 or 7 qualification in Leadership (or equivalent experience), reflecting your commitment to professional development and high standards of team management.

As a Clinical Leader, you will: 

  • Support the Theatre Manager in the efficient running of the Theatre and Recovery areas

  • Co-ordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety 

  • Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care

  • Work well with consultants who are experts in their field

  • Apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning and delivery

  • Champion a supportive, enabling culture within the theatre and recovery team, promoting staff wellbeing and patient safety
