Senior Director of Demand Generation

Role Overview:

As the Senior Director of Demand Generation for EMEA, you will be responsible for developing planning and executing the EMEA strategy to generate high-quality leads, accelerate pipeline creation, and drive revenue growth. You will design scalable campaigns across digital, field and partner channels that engage existing and potential customers through every stage of the marketing funnel. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations to ensure measurable impact on business growth.

This is a strategic role that is an integral part of the EMEA Executive Leadership Team (ELT), spearheading innovative strategies that drive demand generation and maximize sales revenue for Otis' diverse range of products and services across EMEA. This position will be instrumental in aligning people, processes, and tools to drive measurable demand across channels. Reporting directly to the Marketing COE, this position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the requirement of being based in Europe.

Strategy and Leadership

  • Define EMEA demand generation to support business objectives and revenue targets
  • Lead and mentor Field Marketing and Sales Development reps
  • Align demand generation plans with sales priorities and product strategies

Campaigns and Programs

  • Develop integrated campaigns (paid digital, ABM, email, events, webinars, trade media) to engage customers
  • Own the top-to-bottom marketing funnel strategy
  • Implement ABM programs to target key accounts and buying groups

Measurement and Optimization

  • Define KPIs for demand generation (MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, ROI).
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing to ensure accurate reporting, attribution, and lead management process.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns through data analysis, testing and feedback.

Collaboration and Alignment

  • Work closely with Sales leadership to ensure marketing sourced pipeline meets expectations.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate value propositions into campaign offers and content with the support of MarComms.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of marketing experience in a similar environment with at least 5 years in demand generation leadership
  • Proven success driving measurable pipeline and revenue in long sales-cycle, complex B2B markets
  • Experience in leading a demand generation team or agency with knowledge in digital channels (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, programmatic, content syndication and email nurture).
  • Familiarity with ABM platforms (e.g. Demandbase, 6sense, etc.) and marketing automation systems (e.g. HubSpot).
  • Strong analytical mindset with an experience in sales CRM and advanced marketing analytics.
  • Analytic reasoning and superior data analysis - ability to aggregate data and systematically apply the data to resolve business problems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of B2B business and industrials/construction industry and/or specific knowledge of elevator and escalator industry preferred; B2B experience at a minimum
  • Problem-solving skills – ability to think critically and creatively for technical issue resolutions
  • Excellent leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
