Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services and possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work within a professional setting, contributing to the upkeep of our facilities through efficient and thorough cleaning practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, surfaces, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
  • Ensure waste disposal is handled correctly by emptying bins and recycling materials.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning activities.

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
  • Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes.
  • Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable with a professional attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
