Role Overview

You will play an important role in helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out day-to-day minor maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard, contributing to a positive living environment.
  • Identify when repairs can be completed in-house and when specialist expertise is required.
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and that instructions, health and safety guidelines, and organisational procedures are followed at all times.

Knowledge & Experience (Desirable):

  • Previous experience in gardening, building, or general maintenance.
  • A range of practical skills, including basic maintenance and gardening.
  • Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
  • Awareness of health and safety requirements in the workplace.

Skills Required:

  • Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to plan and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks.
  • A consistently customer-focused approach.
