About Us
We're Roundel Manufacturing Limited, a proud, family-owned business trading since 1969. Based in the North East of England, we design and manufacture high-quality, rigid-built kitchen units — no flat packs, all made in the UK. With over five decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and dedication behind us, we continue to deliver exceptional kitchens to customers across the country.
As our business grows, we're looking for passionate individuals who share our commitment to quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant to join our busy Procurement team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials from suppliers through to production — keeping our manufacturing operations running seamlessly.

What You'll Be Doing
- Schedule and expedite purchase orders to meet production and customer demands.
- Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to track progress and resolve any issues.
- Support procurement and warehouse colleagues to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Identify and prevent potential delays or shortages.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our supply chain processes.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of procurement or supply chain processes.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a problem-solving mindset.
Desirable:
- NVQ in Business Administration or CIPS Level 3 in Procurement and Supply.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a respected family business with over 50 years of heritage.
- Work with a dedicated, friendly team in a supportive environment.
- Help deliver quality, UK-made products our customers love.
- Opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career.
If you're looking for a role where your contribution truly matters and you take pride in quality and teamwork, we'd love to hear from you.
