Pay Rate: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Approximately 45 hours per week – flexibility required (including evenings and weekends as needed)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Area Cleaning Supervisor to support the Operations Management Team in overseeing cleaning operations across multiple sites in Greater Belfast and NI wide.

This is a hands-on, mobile position providing cover cleaning across sites on an ad-hoc basis to support operational needs such as holidays and absences. The role also involves completing client visits, quality checks, and team coordination to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide cover cleaning across multiple sites as required (holiday and absence cover).
  • Assist the Operations Management Team with day-to-day operational support.
  • Carry out site inspections, client visits, and quality checks to maintain standards.
  • Support with the induction, training, and mentoring of cleaning operatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety, and site-specific procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports relating to cleaning standards and attendance.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and site staff.

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (essential – travel between sites required).
  • Minimum 3 years' cleaning experience (commercial or industrial environments).
  • At least 1 year of cleaning supervisory or team leader experience (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of cleaning standards, COSHH, and H&S requirements.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Cleaning-related qualifications (e.g. BICSc or equivalent) preferred.
  • Use company systems to record and report information accurately; computer literacy, including Excel, is essential.
